In 1997, Dino Hillas started a collection of lighting, furniture and gifts called Moda Dora Gift and Home in his Los Angeles showroom. In Greek, the words "moda dora" translates to "Gifts with Style.”
The Moda Dora candle line was inspired by many years of Dino’s experience in the fields of, design, sales and marketing. When asked to design for Love and Pride, he wanted his products to reach outside the box, but to focus on what is important such as love, understanding and a sense of community.
Dino designed these handcrafted candles with these concepts in mind. The double heart, crown and pave interlocking wedding bands symbolize the dream of those who one day will marry the person they chose to spend the rest of their lives with as well as the celebration of those who have been fortunate enough to marry in their own state of residence.
