Fathers, Food & Fotos — Share Your Memories

by Art Rodriguez June 17, 2011

This weekend it’s all about DAD!  While you are preparing your Father’s Day brunches or dinners by marinating your steaks or cleaning up the grill, take a minute to submit family photos, stories and recipes from your big Father’s Day Weekend to info@latinofoodie.com. Or, if your father is not here with you because he’s gone up to heaven or lives in another part of town, we encourage you to make his favorite meal and still send us a photo with a quick note of a wonderful memory with him. We will be posting your photos and stories all of next week in honor of pops.

Stephen enjoying time with his father, Vincent Chavez Jr.

Last holiday spent with Dad in Colorado.

by Femme Fraîche March 06, 2016

Mushroom and Kale Egg BakeAdulting is hard stuff. Sure, there are the big things like taking care of kids or parents, unexpected car and home repairs, dealing with awful work situations, but sometimes the littlest things feel the most difficult. These days, one of my biggest dilemmas is finding what to feed myself in the mornings that is convenient, nourishing, and so tasty I’ll be psyched to eat it a few days a week. This...
