It looks like convicted gay basher Kathryn Knott will be stuck in her jail cell for at least another week. Poor thing.
Less than a month after beginning her 5-10 month sentence for her part in the brutal and bloody attack against a gay couple back in 2014, the 25-year-old Jack Daniels aficionado and police chief’s daughter petitioned the court to be released early.
Evidently, the orange jumpsuit doesn’t compliment her skin tone, and the prison food is, like, totally gross. Not to mention, there’s no booze allowed and she’s, like, totally bored all the time.
So she filed a request with the court to be freed from the chains and fetters of incarceration and instead be made to record a short public service announcement as punishment for her hate crime.
Amazingly, Common Pleas Court Judge Roxanne Covington actually agreed to consider the request.
The resentencing hearing was originally scheduled for today, but at the last minute Covington had to reschedule it for March 14. That means Knott will have to spend at least one more week in her cramped, stinky jail cell doing this:
