A doctor in New Mexico faces kidnapping charges after two male patients have accused him of inappropriate behavior during appointments.

Dr. Robert Woody lives in Chaparral, N.M. but has a practice in Las Cruces. According to one of his alleged victims, the 62-year-old neurologist locked the door during a 2015 exam and fondled him, kissing his neck and whispering in his ear that he “loved” him.

The victim also said Woody asked a series of inappropriate questions completely irrelevant to his visit, including wondering if the man was gay. When the patient replied “no,” the doctor cooed “we will see” under his breath in a seductive manner.

Another victim said a similar thing happened to him in 2013, but that afterwards, Woody called him at home a few days later to apologize.

Woody has been charged with two counts of kidnapping (for locking the men in the room with him) with the intent to commit a sexual offense, plus one additional count of criminal sexual contact. The kidnapping charges are first-degree felony counts while the criminal sexual contact charge is a misdemeanor.

Judging by some of the comments on Facebook, it appears many former patients of Woody don’t seem the least bit surprised by the accusations:

Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving creep. I went to this asshole, and I wouldn’t let him near a dead dog. He has way more mental issues than just being a sexual predator. Sociopath.
