Sarah Palin Is Suing Rapper Azealia Banks Over Incredibly Offensive Tweets

by matt baume April 06, 2016

Sit back, relax, and enjoy a bowl of popcorn while you watch this bizarre fight between Sarah Palin and Azealia Banks.

The whole mess started when Banks found a fake news article on one of those “we’ll just make something up and say that it’s satire even though that’s not what satire is” sites. The piece fabricated a bunch of Palin quotes like “slavery wasn’t forced onto African-Americans, they accepted it willingly,” and “Negroes loved being slaves and they were doing just fine under our rules,” and “They need someone to govern them, to show them how to organize, how to live as a community, in a civilized manner. They pretty much need us more than we need them.”

OK, that’s a pretty awful thing to say, but it was scammy clickbaters at “Newlso” who wrote it, not Palin. And frankly, all of those sentences are a little too coherent to have actually come from Palin.

Nevertheless, Banks believed it, and went on a Twitter rant. A lot of it’s been deleted, but among her ideas was “Let’s find the biggest burliest blackest negroes and let them run a train on her. Film it and put it on Worldstar.” (“Run a train” means enlisting a woman for a gang bang.) She also wrote that Palin should get fucked by a big black dick and then locked in a cupboard, and so on.

Then Palin hit back on Facebook, in a post starting with “Hey Female Rapper – listen up, little darling,” and going on, “No one has any idea what you’re wigging out about in these bizarre, violent rants against me,” calling the whole thing “some fake interview in which I supposedly offered comments representing the antithesis of my truth.”

And now Banks has apologized for “any emotional distress or reputational scarring I may have caused you.”

And this:

But Palin says that’s not enough, and she’s going to sue Banks, because “if a white girl were to say what this black girl is saying, the screams for the entire white population’s head would be louder than the nonsensical rap that Azealia spews all the way to the bank. The white girl would probably be locked up.”

Uh huh. Well, good job to both parties. You definitely deserve each other!

“Trump Tower Live” Is A Total Stinking Mess

by matt baume October 28, 2016

Like the festering dead mouse for which it is named, Trump Tower Live is apparently pretty unbearable. The whole point of Trump’s run for office was not, of course, for him to win — he has no interest in being President, don’t be ridiculous. It’s all been a marketing tool for his soon-to-launch “Trump TV” network, where he [...]
