Unintentionally Hilarious Ad Campaign Proclaims “We All Need The D”

In a possibly orchestrated stunt, Canada’s Yukon Health and Social Services marketing department put out a hilariously awkward ad campaign encouraging people to get more D — Vitamin D, that is.

But you wouldn’t know it from a quick glance at the ads’ headlines, which were designed by someone who supposedly didn’t know that “the D” has another meaning. We’ll take it on good faith that we don’t need to spell this one out for you.

Whether it was an honest mistake or a clever way of getting people to care about the Yukon Health department’s message (does it really matter?), this is one campaign we can really get behind.

Check it out more below:

The ads were taken down shortly after they were mocked on Twitter, which you could interpret as proof that the creators really were unaware of the double entendre, or proof that they did their best to make this a “controversy.”

Either way, get out there and get the D — doctor’s orders!
