PHOTOS: Gus Kenworthy Debuts Mustache In Swoon-Worthy Spread

by Dan Tracer February 18, 2016

In a recent shoot for Frontiers Media that’s giving us classic ’60s meets Miami penthouse pool party, skier Gus Kenworthy shows off his new whiskers and perfectly fuzzy legs.

And the boy can certainly fill out a suit.

You can see all the photos and read the lengthy profile here.

Below are a few highlights:

On the decision to have ESPN identify his boyfriend, actor Matthew Wilkas, during the televised broadcast:

“I thought I’d never see the day when they announced ‘Kenworthy’s boyfriend.’ I just didn’t even think it was possible. I had a boyfriend but, of course, no one knew that. I was too embarrassed to bring him up, which is kinda messed up.”

On what it was like to be in the closet at the Sochi Olympics:

“I wasn’t out. My boyfriend and I weren’t able to hold hands or be affectionate anywhere, so at Sochi, it wasn’t entirely different. We weren’t being open or honest anyway,” he says. “I think, looking back, it’s one of the reasons we didn’t work out.”
