Lebanese Man Describes Being Kicked Out Of Home For Being Gay

We live in such a wonderfully accepting time, it can be a bit hard to believe that people are still getting kicked out of their homes for being gay, but it’s true.

Multiple studies have placed the rate of homeless youth that identify as LGBT between 20 percent and 40 percent, and we still have a long way to go.

YouTuber Elias describes himself as “Just a regular degular shmegular Lebanese boy living in Australia,” and he shared his story of being kicked out of his home for being gay, complete with disturbing religious undertones.

Watch, discuss, and remember that while we’re busy lusting over hot models and talking politics, some are still worried about covering the basics. We wish Elias all the best.
