HRC Alabama Holds Community Meeting in Auburn

by Guest contributor March 02, 2016

Post submitted by Deborah Bettis, HRC Alabama Volunteer

HRC Auburn held a community meeting in February at Auburn Unitarian Universalist Fellowship to educate more people in our community about HRC's work and presence.

Attendees were positive and enthusiastic about the future of HRC in Auburn. The team wants to work with schools in the area to embrace HRC Foundation’s Welcoming Schools program. They want to work together to help LGBTQ youth and their families.

HRC Auburn volunteers are holding monthly meeting on the third Tuesday of every month. To encourage participation and membership, the next meeting will plan a social event to garner memberships! If you're interested in joining us, email tori.sisson@hrc.org.
