AIDS Activists From Across The Globe Descend On Durban To Party Without Pants

by Mark July 25, 2016

NPNP Men

After the hard work of attending the international AIDS conference (AIDS2016) in Durban, South Africa, AIDS activists from around the globe stripped to their boxers – and sometimes less – for the “No Pants, No Problem” dance party on the eve of the final day of events.

In his final video blog of the massive conference, gay blogger Mark S. King captures the international bumping and grinding, where gay, straight, and transgender advocates let off some steam after a conference filled with protests, the wide-scale advocacy of the adoption of PrEP, and the stark differences between the response to HIV among various continents.

But first, Mark strolls the eye-popping Global Village to meet teenaged advocates, grandmothers who are caring for the children left behind by the loss of their parents, a sexually explicit prevention campaign in Thailand, and a team from Amsterdam who discuss what lies ahead in their home city, hosts of AIDS2018.

Find out more about the work of MSMGF, the organization working for the health and rights of gay men worldwide, or get more information about HIV/AIDS at the most comprehensive HIV resource on the net, TheBody.com.
