Apparently It’s #HeterosexualPrideDay And We Had No Idea

by Graham Gremore June 29, 2016

This just in: Today is #HeterosexualPrideDay.

Who knew?

We mistakenly thought every day was Heterosexual Pride Day, but apparently June 29 is the official date. At least according to a group of Twitter trolls.

It all began when someone decided to mock Gay Pride by creating the hashtag #HeterosexualPrideDay. Pretty soon, straight men (and a few straight women) joined the chorus by tweeting about just how secure they are in their heterosexuality.

Check out some of the things they’ve been saying…

Naturally, not everyone was pleased about the hashtag or the things these trolls were saying, especially in the wake of the Orlando massacre.

Of course, this is hardly the first time a gaggle of straight people have thought they were the first ones come up with the idea of “heterosexual pride.” A group of high school students did the same thing last year, and someone else did it the year before that, and someone else did it two years before that.

by Tim Winfred September 28, 2016

Yeah, we know most people aren’t the biggest fan of RuPaul‘s Drag Race season 2 winner Tyra Sanchez – she was controversial during her time on the show, and her post-show career hasn’t been a smooth ride either. Nevertheless, her new track Vogue is seriously hot, and worth a listen. The song’s beat is reminiscent of [...]
