Out Representative Brian Sims Is Our New Favorite Disney Princess

Get ready for your crush on Brian Sims to go from “hey he’s pretty great” to “take me now.” Your favorite bearded Pennsylvania representative just uploaded a video to Facebook of himself singing along to Jodi Benson as Ariel in The Little Mermaid.

It is lovely and cute and perfect, and hopefully will inspire a series. What would you like to see him sing next? (Personally, we’re torn between “Colors of the Wind” from Pocahontas and “I’ll Make a Man out of You” from Mulan.)

And more broadly, it would be awesome if this got more politicians into the lipdub game — whether they want to or not. Donald Trump would never do anything like this, but we’d love to see someone synchronize clips of him to “Be Prepared” from The Lion King.

In his description, Brian writes, “I hope you’re having as fun of an afternoon as I am! #GoinCampin…with Ariel!” Yes, sir, never were truer words spoken. You certainly are indeed camping.
