Team GB Divers Show Off Their Revealing New Swim Briefs

“They have to be small because everything has to stay in place.”

That’s Tom Daley talking to Graham Norton back in May, when prodded as to why his swim briefs leaned towards the nonexistent side of the spectrum.

“If you’re spinning around the last thing you want to do is have something come out of place! And when you hit the water, you don’t want things flapping about because it would hurt.”

Well, once again Adidas and Stella McCartney have paired up to design Team GB’s kit for the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio, a city known for its own fervent embrace of all things Speedo.

“Things become very real the moment your bag is packed for competition,” Daley says.  “It was a huge honor to work with Adidas and Stella McCartney during the design process, and I can’t wait to wear the final kit in Rio as part of Team GB.”
