The growing scene — currently believed to be several thousand strong — largely consists of mature men from America, the United Kingdom and, yes, Germany.

Apparently it’s been going on since the ’80s, and was helmed by an adventurous, experimental gentleman who helped style masks for Tim Burton’s Batman films.

According to VICE, the men recreate themselves from top to bottom by dressing up in silicone bodysuits, prosthetic breasts and opulent outfits.

The publication managed to find some guys in Amsterdam and Germany who agreed to transform themselves into their “feminine latex doll” alter egos in front of the camera.

The film includes the following soundbite: “You know there’s nothing going on in a doll’s head… It’s all full of air or straw.”

If that doesn’t grab you, we can’t do nothing for you.

Let’s get to know these guys, shall we?
