RuPaul has been doing the TV gig for quite some time, which makes it all the more deserved that he finally took home one of those meaningless-but-oh-so-meaningful Emmy statues.

And as we have only come to expect, Ru looked great — hell, who else has ever pulled off a sensible bag on the walk up to the stage — and sounded even better.

He kept it short, sweet and to the point, giving proper shoutouts to some behind the scenes folks and Michelle Visage, and alluding to that time he said he’d rather have an enema than an Emmy.
