We can’t stop celebrating love—and who wants to? A new video was just released by Yulin Kuang that celebrates the marriage equality decision now that four months have passed. The film features couples from all over the U.S., some on their wedding day and some just enjoying their day together as a married couple. Others share their reaction to the marriage equality decision.
The film opens with a quote by Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy which he wrote in the Obergefell v Hodges ruling:
“Rising from the most basic human needs, marriage is essential to our most profound hopes and aspirations.”
Following that quote, a voice narration of Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116:
“Let me not to the marriage of true minds/ Admit impediments.”
Chills! Watch the video below and smile with the knowledge that love really did win.
