Adidas Adds Pharrell Williams to the Fold With New Equality Messaging

Pharrell Williams’s newest campaign for Adidas promotes a track jacket, a sneaker and gender and racial equality.

The ad’s tag lines are “Equality is Acceptance,” “Equality is Love” and “Equality is Strength,” with photos, including a group of people standing in an equal sign formation, shot by Ryan McGinley.

Williams announced his “long-term partnership” with the company in March.

“Working with an iconic brand like Adidas is such an incredible opportunity,” Williams said after his announcement.. “From the classic track suit, to growing up in Virginia wearing Stan Smiths, Adidas has been a staple in my life. Their pieces are timeless.”

The singer’s items are a neon Stan Smith sneakers, available in leather or felt, and a track jacket in satin or leather.

The items are now available in select stores and online. A new product will also be slated November 25 and is to arrive in stores December 1.
