Pat Boone Outraged Over SNL’s ‘God’s Not Dead 2’ Parody, Demands Apology For Christians

Pat Boone is sick to death of heterosexual White Christians being discriminated against, and he’s making sure his voice is heard!

Claiming discrimination? Check. Comparing his alleged oppression to Muslims? Double check and…yikes.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about the SNL parody (watch it here) of God’s Not Dead 2 (a movie with a trailer so bad we thought it was a parody when we first saw it) he unleashed a big ol’ bag of crazy that hit all the major evangelical Christian talking points:

“Something can be devilishly funny, but this skit is diabolical. God has only one real enemy — Satan. Satan ridicules faith, and they’re taking Satan’s side. They’re also ridiculing me and the film, telling impressionable young people not to see it because it’s ridiculous. Then they throw in that the lawyer is Jewish to make the Christian look even worse, but it’s just anti-Semitic.”

Pat, Pat…any 2016 movie that casts Melissa Joan Hart as the female lead is inherently ridiculous, but you’re not doing yourself any favors saying this:

“This skit was outright sacrilege. They know if they did this to Muslims they’d have to be put into the witness protection program. There’s nothing sacred at SNL — except maybe the words ‘Mohammad’ or ‘Allah.’ They’d never take those names in vain, but when they called God a ‘boob man,’ they took his name in vain.”

He then tells THR that believers in God “deserve an apology” and that the skit “went over the line.” Who knew evangelical Christians were so humorless? Oh…everyone.

You can watch the SNL skit below if you want to know what all the fuss is about. However, the real trailer for God’s Not Dead 2 is even funnier in an unintentionally campy kinda way.
