2015 was a great year for global equality and gay travel, and today is your last chance to let us know which destination deserves to go down in history as “City of the Year.”
Dublin gained marriage equality, Stockholm hosted the gay EuroGames, and Miami is gearing up to host the world’s OutGames. And after multiple terrorist attacks, Paris remains resilient and in our hearts.
It was also a record-breaking year for Prides all over the world. London welcomed over one million attendees to its Pride celebration in June, making it 2015’s largest LGBT event in the world.
And 2015 was also the year that Taipei became a certified gay mecca when it’s Pride march welcomed almost 80,000 LGBT supporters, making it the largest Pride fest in Asia (sorry, Tel Aviv).
All of these cities has breakthrough years, but only your vote will determine which one deserves the coveted title of “City of the Year.” Today is the last day to vote! So head over to GayCities and vote now for the Best of GayCities 2015.
You can vote everyday for your favorite destinations. The last day to vote is January 7th, 2016, 11:59pm ET. The more times you vote the greater your chance of winning the grand prize: a trip for two to anywhere in the U.S.
