That was the first anyone saw of Tom Holland, 20, as the latest iteration of cinematic Spider-Man. The whole scene was very, erm — is flirtatious the right word?
In master-level Marvel marketing fashion, Holland’s own Spidey flick is set for release in 2017, and the first official trailer was just shared. In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Stark continues his mentorship of isn’t-he-too-old-for-high-school? Peter Parker, with at least one awkward hug in the back seat of Stark’s limo. Isn’t sexual tension just hilarious?

Holland joins the ranks of Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire in bringing Spider-Man to the big screen. Even Neil Patrick Harris voiced the super-teen in 2003’s Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
