The makers of the Guybrator, a device that offers men “hands-free orgasms,” have just unveiled their latest marketing ploy. It’s call “GuyFi” and it’s being deemed a “male stress relief booth” located in the heart of Manhattan.
The convert telephone booth is located at 28th St. and 5th Ave. and is complete with a chair, laptop, and curtain that allows men to “relieve stress” in private during the middle of their workday.
“There’s no denying that working a nine to five job can be stressful on both your mind and body, especially in a non-stop city like Manhattan,” Hot Octopuss co-founder Adam Lewis said in a press release. “It’s really important for guys to look after themselves so that they can stay healthy and focus properly on the task in hand.”
The idea for the booth was inspired by a Time Out survey, which found that 39 percent of men in New York admitted to choking their chickens at the office. The booth aims to “take this habit out of the office and into a more suitable environment designed to give the busy Manhattan man the privacy, and the high-speed Internet connection, he deserves.”
“We hope the city’s men enjoy using the space we’ve created in whatever way they want,” Lewis said. “It’s completely free of charge… all that we ask is they thank us when they get their promotion!”
But, fellas, before you go racing down to the corner of 28th St. and 5th Ave. on your lunch breaks, you should probably know that the “GuyFi” isn’t actually intended for real use as masturbating in public is illegal, even when done in the semi-privacy of a convert telephone booth.
